Here at Delray Beach Animal Hospital, we’re committed to the well-being and health of all the pets in our community. To help even more pets, we’re hosting a food, supply & donation drive this week to benefit the local shelter, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches. We hope you’re able to join us this week, September 7-14th, to get pets the care they need. Check out their item Wishlist here if you want to know more about where the greatest need is.
About Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches
The mission of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is to provide a safe shelter for homeless, lost, or otherwise unwanted pets. They care for, protect, and find loving forever homes for these companion animals in need while advocating for animal welfare, getting involved in the community and educating pet owners on how to further the bond between people and pets. Their goal is to create a world where each and every adoptable pet is able to find a loving home and where no animal is euthanized due to overpopulation. This mission is very similar to the one we have here at Delray Beach Animal Hospital, which is why we’re so proud of our week in support of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches.
Ways to Help
In addition to making sure your own four-legged companions are spayed or neutered, we’re also offering great opportunities to help the animal welfare cause. This week, 10% of all proceeds here at Delray Beach Animal Hospital will go to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. Get your pet their core and lifestyle vaccinations, a wellness exam, updated parasite preventatives and more. We’re open every day of the week from 9am–9pm, so drop on by or make your appointment today! We’ll be accepting donations of pet food and supplies all week as well, so feel free to stop in just to donate something that will improve the lives of pets right here in our own community.
